It’s that time… where I have to vent my plance feels:
I know that for many people plance is not a slowburn, but
for me it is. It’s a quiet slowburn with a hidden but important development.
They didn’t had a great start, mostly because Pidge was
trying to concentrate on her mission, but you can see she didn’t want that. She
didn’t want to be rude and she didn’t want to leave.
it would’ve been so much different if it wasn’t for the
situation she was in.
Lance was probably one of the first persons that at least
wanted to bond with her. Lance doesn’t care about science, he doesn’t fully
comprehend it, but he’s not like Pidge’s classmates, he supports her and is
amaze by her. He tried to understand science when Pidge explained the
importance and beauty she sees in it and that’s new! That’s new for Pidge
because someone who doesn’t care about science in the way she does actually
think she’s great.
Friendly reminder to those hateful anons that Jasmine was 15 and Aladdin was 18, so if one hates Pidge x Keith then logically they nust hate the entire Aladdin movie.
for starters, the obvious is that they’re both the troublemakers of the paladins
they’re the two that had to go running towards danger
and they run off to steal money from a wishing fountain for a video game she wanted (which he didn’t seem to care about until she wanted it)

and these two seem to blush at specifically each other on the strangest occasions, which is an odd thing to have in common for a platonic relationship
and the roasting between each other gets me every time
I guess this also counts
not only that, but they both dream about being amazing pilots, while everyone else either already is or doesn’t necessarily care
these two are so so so adorable and perfect for each other I love them, it would be no surprise to me if they turn out to be canon. if not, so be it, but it’s always an excellent path to take for the story.
- Lance is 17 and only ONE YEAR AND 8 MONTHS older than Pidge.
- Keith and Lance have a very similar age gap to Lance and Pidge.
- Plance is in no way, shape, or form, pedophilia, and is in fact, a highly normal, everyday IRL occurrence in terms of age gap, and is a perfectly healthy, non-problematic ship.
- Pidge does NOT have a confirmed sexuality. No, she has NOT been confirmed aro/ace. Anywhere. Stop treating that like it is cold hard canon fact, because it is not. You just want her to be.
- Hunk and Lance are both 17. Keith is 18. I fail to see how Hance is ‘pedophilia’ or whatever if Klance is not. Shut the fuck up, Hance is not a problem.
- Neither is Heith. If Klance is okay, so is Heith. Hunk and Lance are the same goddamn age.
- Just because a ship gets in the way of your ship does not make it problematic, point blank, and you cannot use ‘age gap’ to justify your hatred of the ship if said age gap is within the same range as your own ship.
- Lotor doesn’t hate women. All of his generals are women. He didn’t kill Narti bc she was a woman, he doesn’t understimate women, whatever. He killed Narti bc she betrayed him and was being used by Haggar. Lotor is not a misogynist. Shut up.
- Literally just shut the fuck up about age discourse when the age gaps you’re whining about are barely any bigger than Klance. Stfu.
